Made from felt scraps, offer your Christmas decorations a unique garland from slow design. With the intense colors of 100% wool felts certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100, order your Christmas garlands and discover their unique beauty when you receive them.

Each garland is made to order. I create a unique assembly of shapes and colors, guided by my creativity of the moment. The product photos are to give you an idea of what you'll receive.

Handmade with all my love

This item is handmade from high-quality, natural wool felt. Slight variations make each piece unique, a guarantee of authenticity.

Pre-ordered or in stock in limited series, each creation is developed under the philosophical principles of Slow Design. I sew, embroider and felt each detail by hand in my workshop in Haute-Corse (France). The felt and stitching are solid, so that the object can be used freely and with confidence.

100% wool

The pure merino wool fabric is natural or dyed to a deep, intense color, certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and EU toy standards UNE-EN71/72.

100% felt virgin wool
Visit wire seams or parts of the toy is 100% cotton certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
Visit padding 100% natural Breton or Ariège wool.

Wool is a natural, noble, renewable and recyclable material.

Caring for woolen objects

Wool doesn't hold odors or dust, so all you need to do for routine maintenance is shake or gently pat the toy. Let it breathe through a window. Nor is wool friendly to dust mites: it is naturally anti-parasitic and anti-fungal.

Balberg shop objects and decorations don't require any special cleaning, except in cases of great need. Here are my tips:
For dry dust: vacuum or brush. 
For stains, use a damp sponge and Marseille soap or a suitable ecological stain remover. Blot up damp stains immediately.

Not machine-washable.

Gift-wrapping made with love 

Add free gift wrapping to your order at checkout. Items are wrapped in tissue paper and then placed in a Balberg shop craft bag closed with a natural tie. The gift comes with a Balberg shop card. The packaging is reusable and recyclable.
